These magnets will add a scary new dimension to your Halloween celebration. Keep in mind that they are gooey and messy to make but dry hard and long-lasting.
What you will need:
Tissue Paper
White Glue
Halloween Cookie Cutters
Petroleum Jelly
Scissors
Plastic Plate
Disposable Bowl
Wiggle Eyes-10mm
Magnetic Strips
Instructions for the project: Begin by lightly coating the inside of the cookie cutter with petroleum jelly. Carefully place it on a plastic plate that is also coated with petroleum jelly. In a disposable bowl, dilute some of the white glue with an equal amount of water. Tear the tissue paper into pieces. Carefully dip each piece into the glue solution and crumple up into a tight ball. Press the crumpled pieces in the cookie cutter, while pressing it flat with your finger tip. It is important to fill the entire shape evenly. Let dry for several hours. You should be able to simply pop it out of mold. Let the magnet dry overnight. The tissue paper will be very hard. You can then glue a piece of magnet onto back.
