Hot Dog Roaster
Are you a member of a family that likes to go out and do things together? Do you camp a lot? If you do, this next craft is sure to not only be a lot of fun but very useful as well. Even if you do not go camping, this oatmeal container hot dog roaster can be used just as easily in the backyard.
Oatmeal container hotdog roaster
To make an oatmeal container hot dog roaster, take your oatmeal container and cut it in half lengthwise (cut the bottom of the container and the lid). Punch a hole in the lid and in the bottom of the container about 1/2 way from the cut end. Cover the whole container with aluminum foil, making sure you leave the holes open that you have punched and that the lid is still on the container. Place a hotdog on a wooden dowel and place the ends of the dowel through the holes. Place the roaster on a charcoal grill or in a smoldering fire pit until the hotdog is cooked through.
