Decorate the inside of the shoebox to imitate the animals habitat, you can also add things from outside, such as grass or dirt, to make it more lifelike
Glue the animals inside the shoebox
After the inside of the shoebox has dried you can cut out black strips of construction paper and glue them to the front of the shoebox to create a cage for your animals.
