Mother's Day Wreath
Mother's Day is an excellent holiday for celebration and crafting. There are some many fun Mother's Day crafts that can be made to honor your mother, and enjoy the day. Here are a few Mother's Day craft ideas:
Home décor: One fantastic craft you can make for Mother's Day is anything that will work as a piece of home décor. Not only will it be a beautiful way to celebrate the day, but then it can grace her home, and remind her of you each time she sees it.
A wreath: One great Mother's Day home décor craft is a wreath. If you go to a local craft store, you can find premade wreath starters that have the base for making a great wreath. You then embellish and add to it. So, buy one of these wreath starters, and then collect all of the things you want to add to it. A great way to do this is come up with a list of things that remind you of your mother. For example, if she loves flowers, reading, guitar music, and sweets, then find items that represent each of these interests, and use them to create a beautiful wreath. Or, choose one of them, and make a wreath that themes around that one item. It might be a wreath covered in flowers.

Magnet crafts are lots of fun to make and extremely versatile. You can make magnets to reflect your favorite items, support your favorite cause or just to brighten someone's day with a little gift. Magnet crafts are fairly easy to make and are affordable which makes them a great gift. You can create one special magnet for your special someone or give them a basket filled with a variety of magnets. Whether for your fridge, locker or filing cabinet at work magnet crafts can carry a big punch in a small package. Here are some easy to do and creative magnet crafts-
Breast Cancer Awareness Magnets-You can make magnets with assorted message that can include: courage, hope, love, survivor and faith.
What you will need:
- Ovals cut from Pink Foam
- Pink Ribbon Stickers
- Pink Organza Ribbon
- Scissors
- Magnets
- Glue
Instructions for the project: Start by cutting a 10" piece of organza ribbon. You will want to shape this in the traditional pink ribbon shape. Attach to the foam oval with glue. Add as many layers of ribbon and stickers as you want. Cut a 1" piece of magnet. Peel backing and stick to the back of the foam oval.
