Bandanna Purse

For this craft you need two bandanas, scissors or shears,

You should cut off a one-inch border, in one piece, around the edges of both bandanas, and set them aside.

Now put the bandanas together with the wrong sides together. You can take some scissors and cut slits every ¾ inch of the bandana on three of the four sides.
You then take the slits and tie them together in double knots all the way around the edges. You will then have a cute fringed purse base. Now, take that one inch strip you cut around the edges, and cut it into to pieces. Because there were two bandanas you will have four pieces. Take three of them and braid them together to create your purse handle. Then, know it on each end of the purse. You can take the last piece and make a bow which you can safety pin on, or tie to the handle, or something else.

Stamped Bandanna

This is a fun craft. One of the things you can do is get plain bandanas, white or a different light color. You are going to find a stamp of some kind that you like, and get fabric ink. Then, stamp and design your bandana however you would like. You can decorate it to say a name, or depict a theme you are interested in, etc. It is a fun way to create a personalized bandana. If you want to fold it and wear it like a headband, you can stamp your name where it would fold, etc.

Bandanna Hand Bag

A great craft you can make with bandanas that requires no sewing is a bandana purse or hand bag. To make this you need two bandanas and some scissors. Start by cutting a one inch strip around both bandanas. Then, cut this strip into two equal pieces per bandana, giving you a total of four equal pieces. Now braid three of these together, and use the forth to tie a bow, and knot it through one end of the braid. Now, line the two bandanas up, wrong side touching wrong side, and cut 2 inch slits every ¾ and inch all the way around three sides. Now, tie one slit from each bandana together in a doubled knot all the way around. When you are complete you will have a pocket of sorts. Now, tie the braid onto the top knotted slits to create a handle, and you have a cute bandana hand bag.
