1.The drum - The most classic of all oatmeal container crafts is the drum. There are actually several ways to make a drum out of an oatmeal container. The easiest way is to simply cover and decorate the outside of the container and then use the lid as the place where you will hit to make your drum sound. You could also replace the lid with taut fabric (more like a traditional drum). Some people tie on a “drum stick� that can be made out of a stick from a tree or a wooden spoon or dowel. You can embellish your drum with feathers, beads, leather straps, etc.
